You have to read it to see the arguement made is quite feasible.
It basically goes into showing how the Eucharist of the Christians could actually of been a mushroom and that the elevated spiritual experience was quite powerfully brought on by the substance.
It also talks about Cannabis and how this had a role in lost religious teachings and practices. Worth a read.
